Restaurants

There is a reasonable array of restaurants and cuisines in Suva, and in general prices are not expensive.  Unfortunately, only one or two restaurants make the most of Suva’s waterfront setting, and few offer outdoor dining.

Most restaurants are closed on Sundays and one or two on Mondays – it is wise to phone ahead and check. During weekdays the opening hours for most of restaurants are 10am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm.  In general, reservations are not necessary.  Some restaurants allow BYO wine.

Food courts (which offer principally Fijian/ Chinese/Indian ready made dishes) are located in most  large centres; i.e. MHCC/ Harbour Centre/ TapooCity/ Downtown Boulevard/ Dolphins Plaza/ and QBE Building.
